Counselling/psychotherapy is a process, journey, that with the help of a qualified practitioner can assist clients not only to attempt to reduce or eliminate various issues but also increase their strength and potentials consequently improving their everyday function and performance.
Each of us are unique individuals so every session is adapted to your needs by integrating various approaches and creative styles. My non-judgemental, respectful, supportive and confidential environment with emphasis on deep empathy and honesty, hopefully, will allow you to feel safe and address your issues. I see myself as a challenging, flexible and grounded therapist who has a wealth of experience and the clients’ best interest at heart. Together we can explore your thoughts, feelings and physical sensations that underpin patterns of behaviour that you don't like or may not even be consciously aware of.
During your initial appointment, we discuss your needs, you see how I work and together we can develop your therapy plan. I will be glad to answer any questions you might have. You are then free to think about whether I am the right therapist for you and choose the duration of upcoming sessions. During our work, as part of good practice, we will jointly review your progress and consider and/or decide what further work, action and referral may be required.
